What is Red Myrtle Essential Oil : Myrtle is an evergreen tree that is native to Africa but has spread in the Mediterranean region. Its small green leaves, white flowers and purple-black berries are all the origin of myrtle oil. And the oil obtained from the leaves is used in traditional medicine.  This plant has been used as folk medicine to relieve digestive, respiratory and skin problems.  The essential oil of red myrtle is obtained by distillation with water vapor. It takes about 100 kg of plant for 200 g of essential oil.
